Shipping & Local Delivery Policy

At KC’s Next Chapter Co., many of our pieces are unique, refinished, vintage, or one-of-a-kind. Because of the size and nature of these items, we do not currently offer standard shipping services.

Local Delivery

Local delivery may be available for select purchases and locations for an additional fee. Delivery availability and pricing will depend on the item’s size, delivery location, distance, and any special handling requirements.

Any applicable delivery fee will be discussed and agreed upon prior to scheduling.

Curbside Delivery Only

Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, all local deliveries are curbside delivery only.

Customers are responsible for arranging any assistance necessary to move the item from the curbside delivery location into their home, building, garage, or other desired space.

For safety and liability reasons, KC’s Next Chapter Co. does not guarantee that delivery personnel will carry items inside, navigate stairs, assemble furniture, rearrange existing furniture, or place items within the home.

Inspection & Acceptance

We encourage customers to inspect their purchase at the time of delivery and notify us immediately of any concerns.

Once an item has been delivered and accepted, KC’s Next Chapter Co. cannot assume responsibility for damage occurring afterward, including damage caused during moving, handling, installation, assembly, storage, use, pets, children, weather, or other circumstances outside our control.

Damage After Delivery

Items damaged after delivery and acceptance will not be replaced or refunded due to that damage.

However, we understand that things happen. Customers are welcome to contact us with photographs and details of the damage. At our discretion, we may review the item to determine whether repair, restoration, touch-up, or other servicing may be possible.

Any post-delivery service is subject to evaluation, availability, and potential additional charges. Submission of a service request does not guarantee that an item can be repaired or restored.
